Capsa 2in1® eZ-Plus, Liderpack 2018 award winner
Capsa Packaging has won a Liderpack 2018 best packaging award in the miscellaneous category for the 2in1® eZ-Plus, the first box in the market designed for e-commerce shipping. The same box can cover every stage of the logistics chain (orders preparation, shipments, storage, and returns), making it both efficient and sustainable packaging.
Many e-commerce shipments currently involve the preparation of deferred orders, temporary storage, or may require a return shipment to the sender. These stages of the logistics chain inspired Capsa to design packaging to meet those needs, ensuring the packaging remains resistant during both direct or reverse logistics transportation.
The company was also faced with the major challenge of ensuring that the packaging design provided the user with a great purchasing experience during unboxing, while incorporating closing methods in order to easily and safely return the package.
This new patented solution uses the Plus fast assembly system that takes less than 1 second, reducing handling costs and adhesive tape consumption. It also protects the content better with its reinforced double bottom and folds easily for reuse.
The convenient two self-adhesive strips provide a practical and tamper-proof seal, saving both time and extra adhesive tape, providing a convenient and safe way to return online purchases.
This award attests to the company’s innovative spirit and inspires Capsa to continue designing trendsetting solutions for the corrugated cardboard packaging sector to ensure customers perceive a unique purchasing experience.
Organised by the Graphispack Association and the Hispack fair held at the Fira de Barcelona since 1995, the Liderpack awards are the most prestigious packaging and POP sector awards in Spain.
