Capsa 2in1® Duo boxes are an innovative and patented solution that reinvents conventional boxes, also known as American boxes. At Capsa® we are committed to infusing our Spirit of Innovation into each of our products, which is reflected in the Capsa 2in1® multifunctional closure system.
This Capsa 2in1® closure system adapts to Capsa 2in1® Duo cardboard boxes and provides multiple benefits for those who send and those who receive one of our boxes, as the Capsa 2in1® multifunctional closure system has specially designed flaps to optimise the logistics process:
The special interlocking flaps do not require adhesive tape and offer a clean and practical closing system with a visually appealing appearance.
This avoids the ‘tinkering’ that happens with conventional enclosures, the seals of which eventually deteriorate the enclosure.
In addition, the double locking system protects the contents of the box from being cut by the cutter. With Capsa 2in1® Duo cardboard boxes, there is no longer any need to fear accidentally cutting the contents of the box.
Capsa 2in1® Duo cardboard boxes have a multifunctional closure system on both the top and bottom of the box called the Duo System. This system consists of a manual assembly with adhesive tape and a reinforced cross bottom for added security, which prevents the bottom flaps from slipping off. This feature distinguishes our boxes from conventional boxes. Capsa 2in1® Duo cardboard boxes are therefore a strong and functional solution that promises to revolutionise the way we pack thanks to a reinforced structure design.
According to studies carried out by the Packaging, Transport and Logistics Technological Institute ITENE, Capsa 2in1® Duo cardboard boxes are 33.97% more resistant to lateral compression than conventional boxes. We have also subjected the Capsa 2in1® Duo cardboard boxes to a vibration test in accordance with the ISTA 3A* Protocol. The results have shown that our boxes achieve a transit time to breakage of 70 minutes compared to conventional boxes, which show signs of breakage after 5 minutes. Vibration resistance helps to ensure that the contents are always well protected no matter what position the box is travelling in.
